The challenge here is to advance in the adoption of commitments towards sustainability and the development of major, internationally recognised, integral business prototypes for coastal, cultural, heritage and nature destinations. The focus given to actions on sustainable tourism also takes into account the framework agreement between the Ministry of the Environment and Rural and Marine Areas, and the Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Commerce.
